This was wonderful. It needed a slight adjustment to switch from addition (that produces a triangular number) to multiplication (that produces a factorial). That aside, the code itself is glorious. I love how you actually used the recursive function call as the next number. That's absolutely delicious. I didn't manage to do it as succinctly as you and I wrestled with it for quite a while to get it to behave. Here's mine: def factorial(value, result=1): if value == 1: print(result) else: next_value = value - 1 result = result * value factorial(next_value, result) factorial(4)

A weird thing happens. Everything works as it should when first running the program but I noticed if I stopped running it, then re-run it, the usernames would stay in the database but if I tried to log in, it would skip to the part that tells me the username or password is incorrect. Try it and see, hopefully someone can show me where I went wrong. import os import random import time from replit import db title = "Database Management System" info = "Please ensure you choose option 3 to clear the database before you proceed. This ensures no errors occur during the process of adding new users and logging in." print(f"{title}") time.sleep(1) print() print(f"{info}") time.sleep(1) print() def addUser(): os.system("clear") print("Register Your Login Details") time.sleep(1) print() userName = input("Username: ") passWord = input("Password: ") keys = db.keys() if userName in keys: print() print("Username Already Exists") time.sleep(1) os.system("clear") return salt = random.randint(1000, 9999) newPass = f"{passWord}{salt}" newPass = hash(newPass) db[userName] = {"passWord": newPass, "salt": salt} print() print("User Added") time.sleep(2) os.system("clear") print(f"{title}") time.sleep(1) print() def userLogin(): time.sleep(1) os.system("clear") print("Login Here") time.sleep(1) print() userName = input("Username: ") passWord = input("Password: ") keys = db.keys() if userName not in keys: time.sleep(1) print() print("Username Does Not Exist") time.sleep(1) os.system("clear") return salt = db[userName]["salt"] newPass = f"{passWord}{salt}" newPass = hash(newPass) if db[userName]["passWord"] == newPass: print() print("Successful Login") time.sleep(1) os.system("clear") print(f"{title}") time.sleep(1) print() else: print() print("Incorrect Username or Password") time.sleep(1) os.system("clear") print(f"{title}") time.sleep(1) print() def deleteDB(): db.clear() print() print("Database has been cleared.") time.sleep(1) os.system("clear") return while True: menu = input("1: Add New User 2: User Login 3: Delete Database Insert Option: ") if menu == "1": print() addUser() elif menu == "2": userLogin() else: deleteDB()

Very simple. I thought about putting this is in a while True loop, just so it continually loops the username/admin name and password if the user gets it wrong, but went for this instead. import os adminName = os.environ['adminName'] adminPassword = os.environ['adminPassword'] userName = os.environ['userName'] userPassword = os.environ['userPassword'] usernameInput = input("Username: ") passwordInput = input("Password: ") if usernameInput == adminName.lower() and passwordInput == adminPassword: print() print("Welcome Admin!") elif usernameInput == userName.lower() and passwordInput == userPassword: print() print("Welcome Normy!") else: print("Sorry, please try again!")

So for leap year i made a variable leapsecond which has a value of 60 sec * 60 min * 24 hr *366 days bcuz of leap year for normal it is just 365 and then made them to input the year.and Using the if condition checked whether the year is leap year or not. If it is leap print the leap second which we did before or else the normalsecond
